EVERYONE IS CHEWING - An Eastern Gray Squirrel chomps a Rhododendron bud as its leaves curl in the cold.

BUNNYISH - An Eastern Cottontail rabbit eats Ivy off of the patio retaining wall. Rabbits eat woody sprigs and twigs in winter and these Ivy vines must have fit the bill today.

ANOTHER MONADNOCK - Clouds over Pack Monadnock - locals will know it from the communications towers on it. East of its big sister, Grand Monadnock, Pack Monadnock is home to a state park and is traversed by the Wapack Trail. At 2,290 feet, it is the highest peak on the 21-mile Wapack Trail (which passes above the beaver pond near our house ;-)

SNOW BUNNY - We don't hit the slopes any more to see the ski snow bunnies - but the bunny hanging around our yard has started to come out to eat the twigs sticking out above the snow in the patio garden.
