POTD 12/13/25
ANOTHER MONADNOCK - Clouds over Pack Monadnock - locals will know it from the communications towers on it. East of its big sister, Grand Monadnock, Pack Monadnock is home to a state park and is traversed by the Wapack Trail. At 2,290 feet, it is the highest peak on the 21-mile Wapack Trail (which passes above the beaver pond near our house ;-)

My father was an avid hunter. As a boy the Wapack trail prevented me from getting lost on our hunts.
