EASTER BUNNY - The Eastern Cottontail Rabbit showed up again, just in time to hide the eggs this year.

EASTER ROSE - Our Hellebore is blooming, right on schedule. Hellebores are called Lenten Rose because they typically bloom during the Christian season of Lent. The blooming of these early spring flowers is often associated with the hope and promise of spring renewal.

HERON HUG - Lacking arms for a hug, a pair of Great Blue Herons neck-nuzzle in their nest on the beaver pond as part of their courtship.

DOWNY SOCK - We found that Downy Woodpeckers, this male, like the food in the sock we put out for the Finches.
