HERONS SITTING ON NESTS -  In our annual Heron nesting watch - it is always encouraging to see Herons sitting on nests. When we see this, we feel confident we have a nesting pair and will have Heron chicks. BTW...today is the sixth anniversary of my Picture of the Day photo blog. Six years of daily photos and a good day to scroll down to the "archive" and check out six years of photos from southern New Hampshire.
