MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME - A Robin sits on eggs in a nest on the ground-mount frame of our solar array. According to Sibley - The American Robin has extraordinarily broad habitat preferences and may rank as one of the most adaptable American birds. The Robins in our yard think a nest under the solar array is a great location.

LOOKIN' FOR LOVE - A Turkey hen sports a lonely expression as she visits the yard alone. Wild Turkey mating season goes through early June - so her chances are narrowing by the day.

LOOKIN' FOR A SOFT SPOT - A Painted Turtle climbs onto a patch of moss seeking out a soft spot to soak up some sun on the beaver pond.

STRIKE A POSE - While Google says Heron Chicks do not strike a defensive "bittern pose" to blend in with their surroundings as a defensive maneuver...we know we have eagles flying over the beaver pond and this heron chick was striking a pose that looked like the branch next to it. Would not be the first time we saw something in nature that our Google search did not confirm. ;-)

HEADING FOR JELLY - A female Baltimore Oriole launches from the hook to the jelly feeder hanging just below. We have two pairs of Orioles this year - so we expect to see fledglings.
