STRIKE A POSE - While Google says Heron Chicks do not strike a defensive "bittern pose" to blend in with their surroundings as a defensive maneuver...we know we have eagles flying over the beaver pond and this heron chick was striking a pose that looked like the branch next to it. Would not be the first time we saw something in nature that our Google search did not confirm. ;-)
