CUTE CHICKS - Turkey chicks (called poults) pluck at tender green grass shoots, berries and dropped birdseed as the mother turkeys being their young to forage in the yard. It is common for broods to mix to forage and the chicks be significantly different size, like these two.

SUMMER BATH - A Chickadee stirs up the water in the bird bath during a summer-day bath. Birds, Like us, need extra hydration in hot weather. Because they do not sweat, splashing in the water helps them cool down quickly. Bathing also cleans feathers that keeps them flying safely.

JELLY BIRD - An immature Red-bellied Woodpecker visits the jelly feeder set out for Orioles. It turns out, several bird species besides Orioles go for jelly feeders - including Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Gray Catbirds, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, House Finches, Robins and Hummingbirds. According to Google AI, and I can confirm Red-bellied Woodpeckers)
