POTD 6/5/25
THE CHICKS - Heron chicks grow really fast. By two weeks of age chicks are big enough to leave the nest and perch in nearby branches. There are four nests with chicks on the beaver pond this year - and these chicks are the largest of the 9 or 10 chicks we've counted so far.
