POTD 6/6/25
NOT A PICKY PECKER - We love the variety of birds we attract to our New Hampshire forest yard and we put out a variety of bird seed to attract that variety. While we think of woodpeckers as mainly visiting suet feeders - we learned that Downy Woodpeckers, like this male, like one of the shelled grains in the Finch Lovers seed in the Finch sock and are also attracted to the oranges we put our for the Orioles. Our woodpeckers are not picky eaters.

I remain completely amazed at their ability to hang on by just their tippy tippy toes like that!
