CARDINAL RULE - The male Cardinal has been pretty regular around the yard recently...but our friend's grandmother died recently - and the folk saying about seeing a Cardinal being a sign from someone who has passed away makes us think this Cardinal sighting is for her.

He’s quite regal. I have always heard that about a robin’s appearance after a loved one’s passing would sometimes appear. When my husband passed away a year ago this month, my daughter had a male robin frequent her home for weeks afterward. He would come sit on her fence railing. I also had one that would come and sit in one of the rose bushes in my yard during that same time. It left a very comforting feeling for my daughter and me.
