SILVER-BORDERED FRITILLARY - We are always excited to see the Fritillary Butterflies show up in early Summer - thinking the orange butterflies might be Monarchs...but the Fritillarys are beautiful and we enjoy them "fritting" around the yard from flower to flower.


I love being able to see this so close and notice its distinct markings, and the knobs on the ends of its antennae, which distinguish it from moths, which have hooks on the end of theirs. A perfect shot, Paul.
