THAT ONE FLOWER - We planted morning glory seeds several years ago - a variety called Uncle Ott. Now Uncle Ott shows up in the gardens every year - uninvited! He is a nice morning glory and we don't mind him showing up - but it has been more than 5 years since we planted any Uncle Ott seeds - and he is back every year.

AERIAL ACROBAT - Female Ruby-Throated Hummingbird executes an aerial maneuver around the feeder. Hummingbirds are the only bird species capable of flying backwards. This unique ability is due to their specialized wing structure and the way they flap their wings in a figure-eight pattern. This allows them to hover, fly forward, backward and even upside down.

SPIRITUAL CONNECTION -  The Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, in spiritual contexts, is often associated with harmony, love, rebirth and transformation. It is seen as a symbol of hope and a reminder to embrace new beginnings and follow one's true calling.
