OUT FOR THE EVENING - An Evening Grosbeak chases another off the feeder. Evening Grosbeaks are in the Finch family (think large Goldfinch) and show up in our yard infrequently when they are passing through.

FAIR WEATHER CLOUDS over Monadnock Mountain. I always steal a shot of the mountain when visiting our friend on the hill.

EARLY SHADOWS - Shadows of sunset are sweeping the mountain ridge behind the beaver pond earlier with the time change.
POTD 11/7/24
JUMPY TURKEY - At least one of the turkeys coming through our yard has learned that a jump and a bump will get seeds to fall from the feeder.Pretty savvy turkey!
