APRIL FOOLS- A Magnolia bud covered in snowflakes and frozen rain drips create an April Fools weather picture as Spring things are beginning to happen. The concept of April Fools may have come from the 1852 French calendar shift from the Julian to Gregorian calendar. Those slow to adopt to the change and who continued to celebrate in April were called "April fools." Yet, another theory suggest April Fools is merely tied to the unpredictable "tricky" weather of early Spring. I'm going with the latter.
