EAT WHAT IS AVAILABLE - One of the Turkeys hanging around our yard pecks at Azalea twigs and buds. Wild Turkeys eat plant twigs, particularly the buds and tender stems during winter and early spring when other food sources are scarce. In our yard - it is when the snow is too deep for the turkeys to find food under the bird feeders.
