STILL ENJOYING THE HUMM - The female Hummingbirds are all over the late-Summer blooming flowers (because the males have already left). Hummingbirds eat about half their body weight in nectar and insects daily. The Hummingbirds at our house seem to working toward that goal - this one on a late blooming Cimicifugeae (sometimes called "bugbane").

Great photo. Thanks for reminding me of the bugbane plant. I think I have some growing nearby. Toxic for us but okay for birds.
