POTD 6/9/25
ROBIN CHICKS - The Robin nest under our solar array has three begging chicks in it. Robins are early breeders and usually have two broods per season.

Nice shot. Nest building is an interesting phenomenon, not learned, a genetically coded algorithm.

The phoebes in my woodshed just fledged round one, and seem to already be sitting on round two. Last year they got in three, which was impressive. This year, could they do four?!?! I'll let you know ;-)
