HOWDY DOWNY - A male Downy Woodpecker visits a black oil sunflower feeder. Downy Woodpeckers are a lookalike of the larger Hairy Woodpecker. But the lookalike species cause frequent identification challenges for backyard birders. (The Hairy Woodpecker has a longer bill!)
