THE GIRLS ARE BACK - Male and female birds don't usually migrate together - with males arriving first and alone and females following some days or a week or more later. Songbirds generally have a 50 percent chance of surviving migration, which make the chance of the male Orioles' mate making it back are quite low - so we are always happy to see the female Baltimore Orioles make it back.
