YA MISSED ME - Spike, the young male deer that has been frequenting our yard, may have been taunting the hunters - as today was the final day of deer hunting season. Our 30+ acres is posted No Hunting, but plenty of forest in the area for deer hunters, and we're happy Spike made it through this hunting season.

Nice shot (with a camera). I admit to deer hunting with my father. It was a father-son activity as was our weekly fishing on local ponds and streams. I have not hunted in 40 years, and did not make it a tradition with my son. The fishing trips and the skiing at Mt Snow and Jiminy Peak were good substitutes. My 91 acres are posted.
