POTD 8/26/22
ABOUT TO HEAD SOUTH - A Red-Eyed Vireo showed up in the yard yesterday. The Red-Eyed Vireos that spend summer in the U.S. and southern Canada migrate south to winter in the Amazon Basin in South America. After a couple of years seeing the Vireo's nest in our orchard - we didn't see it this year, but were happy to see the Vireo before it leaves.
