HUMMER TONGUE - Hummingbirds feed by dipping their long slender tongues into the nectar inside a flower - or a sugar-water filled hummingbird feeder. The Hummingbird extends the tongue up to twenty times per second - a lot faster than we could count - so I photograph Hummingbirds in "burst" mode to catch when they flip their tongues.
