Red-breasted Nuthatch -Nutchatches spend a lot of time clinging to the bark of trees. When they visit feeders, they quickly grab a seed and fly back to a tree, wedging the seed into a bark crevice, they pound it open with their bill. This is apparently the origin of the name - they are really nut hackers.
