EAGLE EYE -  An immature Bald Eagle eyes me from a perch. The term "eagle eyed" has been used since the 1500s, long before the science of eagle vision was known. Now we know eagles have five times more light sensing cells in their eyes than humans - so they see a lot more detail than we can and from lots farther away. This eagle flew after getting a good look at me.
