POTD 5/6/20
FAMILY WAY - Geese on Mill Pond keep their goslings in line. Geese young are hatched with eyes open, fully feathered, capable of walking, swimming, feeding and maintaining their own body temperature within a few hours after they hatch. Adult geese protect their young from predators and lead them to good feeding areas, but do not feed them.
