POTD 5/24/20

CHATTY CATTY - Gray Catbird sings a spring song. Catbirds are in the family with Mockingbirds and Thrashers - one of the family defining traits is propensity for complex songs. Analysis of a four-and-a-half minute Catbird song included 170 distinct phrases. Males and females look alike, but since males do most of the singing - we'll call this one Mr. Catbird.
