WHAT KIND OF HUMMINGBIRD IS THIS? - Orioles are insectivores throughout the year, but most Orioles also sip nectar from flowers. In recent past, Baltimore Orioles have learned to use Hummingbird feeders as a food source - as this male did this morning at our Hummingbird feeder.

We enjoy the return of the wildflowers almost as much as the return of the song birds. I spotted a Painted Trillium a couple of days ago - and saw this Purple Trillium on Binney Hill today.
