HERE FOR JELLY - A male Baltimore Oriole at the grape jelly feeder. It took this Oriole several attempts to master landing on the feeder...but he stayed for a while once he "got it".

NO MOW MAY?- It is easy to do a No Mow May where we live - since nothing is tall enough to mow. And, the yard is full of Bluets blooms. The tiny patch-forming flowers are everywhere on sunny, Spring days.

FRUITY - A Hairy Woodpecker at the oranges we put out for the Orioles. We learned that several bird species go for fresh oranges.

GRACKLE CACKLE - A male Common Grackle gets into his song, described as a short, high gurgle eek.
