TWO HEADS BETTER THAN ONE - With spectacular, iridescent feathers and faces only a mother could love....Wild Turkeys have a certain charm.

FINCH FOOD - A female Goldfinch parks in the feeder. American Goldfinches are migratory - but due to year-round feeders, some Finches stay put through the winter. Several Goldfinches have discovered the constantly filled feeders at our house. ;-)

FULL MOON SHADOW - The Wolf full moon paints the yard with a winter moon shadow. The January full moon is known as the Wolf Supermoon and is the fourth in a streak of supermoons, appearing larger and brighter because it coincides with the Moon's closest point to the Earth (perigee).

WASHING OUT 2025 - Maybe water flowing in the brook from the beaver pond is a metaphor for washing away the old and welcoming the optimism a new year brings. Here's to a 2026 full of interesting images!
