EXPLORING OPEN WATER - A beaver swims along the edge of the ice as there is finally enough open water for beavers to get out of their lodges.

LOVELY DOVE - The Mourning Doves are back. This one broadcasting it's mournful call from the tallest perch around.
POTD 3/13/25
DRINK UP - A Blue Jay sends a spray while drinking at the bird bath. Birds drink water by filling their beaks with liquid and then tilting their heads back to swallow. Blue Jays are sometimes messy drinkers.
POTD 3/12/25
OPEN WATER - Finally some open water (a little) on the edge of the beaver pond next to the dam. Enough for the beavers to get in and out after a long winter in their lodges.
