EXACTLY HOW DO THESE WINGS WORK? - A just-fledged Eastern Phoebe works at getting the hang of spreading its' wings. It was flying - albeit tentatively.

JUST DAISY - A patch of Oxeye Daisies will brighten any view. They are in the Aster family and tend to form patches in fields when they bloom in mid-June.

NESTING ROBIN STINK-EYE - Robin sitting on a nest under the solar array gives me a dirty look. This momma is on her second nesting of the summer.

FEED ME -  A fledgling Downy Woodpecker gets fed by momma Downy Woodpecker in the annual Summer BabyBird-athon at Sundial. We love watching "our" birds bring their young to the yard to learn to eat at the feeders.

JUST SPEAK UP - Heron chicks getting quite big and spend most of the time in the nest alone while both parents hunt to feed them. They tend to speak up about not getting fed often enough.
